This tour is inspired by the social media trend, and will involve you in every step of the way to go on a real “Photography Hunt”. The main goal is to make you feel at home and explore all the possibilities this country has to offer.
This is our Signature Tour, and can be customized according to your wishes and places you want to go for taking pictures.

Tirana International Airport Nene Tereza
Immediately after Flight
Pick upat Tirana’s International Airport. Welcome drink. Continue with the visit of the main monuments in Tirana, such as Palace of Culture, National Museum, the newly renovatedScanderbeg Square.Visit of BunkArt is not to be missed. The visit will continue to the former Blloku area, which is the most vibrant area of Tirana, characterized by the villas that have been transformed into bars and restaurants which are very popular among the young people. There you can find a wild variety of bars, cocktail bars, traditional, simple and fancy restaurants/ Many of them have sitting areas just by the street, where you can sit and watch the life rhythm go by. I know you are wandering about the “Photography Hunt”. Just take a look at the Gallery of this Tour, and you will understand what I am talking about. The choice is yours, artistic photography or not, Tirana is full of spots to be remembered.
Breakfast athotel and the next destination will be Gjirokastra (UNESCO). Quick stop for lunch on the way, whilst panoramic views are guaranteed. The visit of the city will include the Fortress of Gjirokastra, which has an amazing view over the Stone City, as it is called, with the mountains backdrop and the ancient ruins of the fortress.Visit of the Old Bazaar is a must.And many other monuments, like Zekate House, the House of EnverHoxha our former dictator and the House of Ismail Kadare, our most famous writer. After the visits, everyone is free for evening… But I would suggesta great rooftop bar, with a spectacular view of the city and the stars. If you have a night lens and tripod, bring it with you.
Breakfast will be servedat thehotel. Let’s go to Saranda!Along the way we will stop and visit the Blue Eye (SyriiKalter), it is a natural phenomenon,whereyou also can take a dip, if you can handle freezing water. Then we will visit Butrinti, UNESCO World Heritage. Inhabited since prehistoric times. You should try to go early and avoid the crowds, in orderto take pictures around this place whichhas the power to transport you back in time. Once back in the city, you should climb theLekursCastle. Dinner can be consumed at the Castle with stunning city and seaside views; or in the many fresh sea food restaurants along the coast.
After breakfast in hotel, we will continue to our next destination, Vlora. We will take the panoramic road of the coast and we can stop any time you see some spot you like. There will be a stop in Dhermi, maybe even a quick dip in the clear blue and warm sea of Ionian. Lunch can be consumed on the sea side; or up the mountainofLlogara, if you prefer the traditional cuisine. After arriving in Vlora, accommodation in hotel and city tour.
Our next destination will be the city of Berat (UNESCO), a town renowned for its characteristic white Ottoman houses. On a hilltop, Berat Castle is a huge compound now inhabited by townspeople. Within its walls are Byzantine churches, the Red Mosque and the Onufri National Museum, with Christian icons. We will visit The Castle of Berat (be prepared for unique views) and, we will eat a tradition lunch. Next is our visit to Apollonia (ancient Greek city located on the right bank of the Aous river (modern-day Vjosë) that was founded in 588 BCE by Greek colonists from Corfu and Corinth, on a site initially occupied by Illyrian tribes). Get a dip into ancient history and culture. Some Helenic outfit could be the best to feature into your pictures. Right after, arrival in Tirana.
The plan of the day, is a visit in the city ofKruja, which was inhabited by the ancient Illyrian tribe of the Albani. We will also visit Shkodra, about 1 hour away. This city is one of the most ancient cities in the Balkans and the fourth most populous city in the country. Both Kruja and Shkodra have castles, a lot of history, tradition and great spots for pictures. If the time allows, we can visit the coastal city of Durres.After the visits, we will return to the hotel in Tirana where the evening is at your choice.
